Movie Maker Versions PLEASE HELP

I have windows xp FULLY UPDATED. I tried to see what version of movie maker i
have but when i open it up and check the "ABOUT AREA " all it says is VERSION
5.1 How can i tell if i have movie maker 1 OR 2 OR what ever is the latest.
PLease help me get the newest version that is out. Also is there another
Program that is better than movie maker that is free . THnx

5.1 is your Windows Version...if you look
further down on that same screen you will see:
"Windows Movie Maker Version 2.1.4026.0"

That is the latest MM version for Windows XP.

I'm not aware of a free program that is
better that Movie maker.
