Movie Maker to miniDV cam does not capture all pictures

Connecting from a Dell to a Sony DCR-TRV-18 via the firelink (IEEE 1394). I've created a movie of over 200 pictures and 7 songs. All the songs and most of the pictures download to the miniDV. There are no common factors regarding the skipped pictures. The tape is just blank. The music goes on. Help.

If you can save the movie to your hard drive and play it fine there, then
try copying it to your camcorder with the WinDV utility. (link on the
Digital Camcorders > Intro page of my site).

If you have the same problem saving it to your hard drive, then it's the
Problem Solving > Can't Save a Movie page.
