I think I am totally missing something here. I have read post after post,
and still now sure how I am coming up short. Here's my problem.....

I have a Canon Digital Camcorder and i want to import it to a program where
I can add a title at the begining and credits with music at the end, which I
have been able to do with Windows Movie Maker. But when I try to save it to
a DVD, it will only save to a CDR/RW. Where did I go wrong? Should I have
uploaded it a different format then what I did? I have some Nero and Ulead
programs, which of course don't recognize the .mswmm format. When I do "save
movie file" it ask me to save to computer to CD, and if I go to CD, it ask
again for a CD-r/rw. What the heck am I missing? Please help me with this
so I can get done and over this.. :-)
Thanks
Roger

1. You can not create a DVD video using Movie Maker.
2. Programs that can create a DVD video (like Nero)
cannot read MSWMM project files.

You need to save your movie in Movie Maker, in
either DV-AVI or WMV format (DV-AVI is the best
quality option).

File -> Save Movie File... -> My computer -> ...

Then you can use a DVD Authoring program to import
the movie you created, and create the DVD.

Bob,

Thank you for your help. That worked great. I never thought about saving
it to the computer as a different format, one of those stupid moments I
guess. The only problem is that it take FOREVER for it to save to the HDD,
but it's defiently well worth the wait for now to save a movie that I worked
hours on editing.

Again thank you,
Roger
