Hello!

When i import some videos or something, in order to
glue them together and make a bigger video, i usually
use transition effects between clips.

When i click any transition effect, or video effect,
or when i try to add a title, as soon as i click it on the
movie maker interface, the program terminates.

It does not produce an error message, or a warning, or
anything, it just terminates, as if I had clicked the "X"
button on the upper right corner.

I have tried reinstalling movie maker 2, but the problem
persists. The program still terminates whenever i click a
video effect or whatever that i wish to add to the
current video.

This happens in two separate computers that i have, a
normal one and a laptop.

Any idea of what might be wrong?

Thankx.
Igor.

I think there are some problems with the new Divx Codec
(9 I think), but only with WMM 2, not with the first one!
....I'm not sure but this are my experieces...

good luck

yes, i'm having this same problem as well, i had been thinking it might had been my own system's configuration but it seems to come back even after i had re-formatted my system & re-install windows XP.

my system configurations are also up to date, considered a fast computer.
the system is running on 2 SATA HDDS, configured to be running on Raid 0.

I've been having this problem for a VERY VERY VERY long time already, but it seems that
Microsoft had not released any patches for this serious issue!!!

& I'm still waiting, i guess there's many others as well!!!
