Movie Maker Starts then error closes it

I have Win XP SP2. Trying to use windows movie maker. The program open with
a error box in the middle of the window, stating an error has movie maker
must close. (error statement is no verbatim) When the OK button acknowledges
the error box the error box closed and so does movie maker. This happen
every time so I’m unable to get to the menu in mover maker to check settings.

after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.
