Movie Maker Stalling (vista)

I put together a slide show of pictures with music using movie maker, but
when I play it on my full screen in constantly stalls both visually and
audibly. I tried downloading version 2.6, and while this version didn't
stall, my pictures appeared all blurry. Suggestions? My computer should be
running fine. . .I keep very few programs running and clean it up/defragment
regularly.

Thanks for the help John! It does not stall now that it is published,
although it still is not completely smooth. Still, it is definitely workable
now.

What are the technical hardware specifications/configuration of your
system?Please describe in as complete and accurate detail as possible.
