Can anyone tell me if there is a maximum file size for a home video I want to
edit or is there a maximum time of a video I want to edit.

I have the right format for the video, and the movie maker loads all the
video clips, but when I move more than 21 clips into the timeline movie
maker just shuts down.

There's no hard coded limit...basically, you
are only limited by your system resources.

However...large projects can cause issues...I
would suggest that you create several smaller
projects. Save them in a Movie format (.wmv or
..avi) And reimport them to create the final movie.

I would also suggest that you read the following
articles and take care that the source files you use
are compatible with Movie Maker.
