Petrified Monkey

Im trying to make a movie for a class at school. The movie is completed, but
every time I try to play the movie there are a few points were it will stop
playing every time. I have to press play again to get it going. Then I
tried to save the movie and it couldn't save past the first point were it
stoped playing.

The movie is rather long, so I don't really want to make it again, any
suggestions?

The Movie Maker help has a complete list of the features available.

Windows Movie Maker has the following editing features:
Import and catalog supported video, audio, and still-image files into
collections.
Reorder clips from a media file and save them as a new movie (a .wmv file).
Combine clips from different media files and formats, and re-encode them
into one movie (a .wmv file).
Create and add a narration track.
Add an audio track.
Split clips.
Combine adjacent clips.

I would guess you need to 're-encode' the different formats into one *.wmv
file

Okay, I know what your talkign about, but I dont know were to go to be able
to do it. I can seem to find this list in the help menu.

(from moviemk.chm)
To combine a split audio or video clip
In the Contents pane or on the storyboard/timeline, hold down the CTRL key,
and then select the contiguous clips you want to combine.
On the Clip menu, click Combine.
The name and property information of the first clip in the group is used for
the new clip and the time is adjusted accordingly.

Note

To select consecutive clips, click the first clip, press and hold down the
SHIFT key, and then click the last clip. To select one clip at a time, press
and hold down the CTRL key, and then click each clip that you want to
combine.
