Ok, since I'm usung movie maker for the qst time & I'm onlyt barely familiar
w/ the technical jargon in its Help section, you'll have to forgive me here...

I'm trying to slap together what'll amount to a picture/slide show w/ music
from my own library playing. I think the pictures will end before the song
does.

What I cannot figure out is how to sync it so that I get the entire song in
(close to) perfectly w/ the pics.

If I can't, I'll settle for fading the song out before it's over....But how??

Thanx in advance!

On the timeline view you can see
the length of the Audio/Music track.
If it's longer than the Video track...
shorten it by dragging the double
red arrow to the left until the two
tracks match up in length.

Placing your pointer on the end of
the Audio/Music track will make
the double red arrow appear.

Now if you want it to fade out....
right click the track and choose...
Fade Out.

Or...you can try to adjust the duration
of the pictures to closer match the
length of the music. Only thing is...
this adjustment has to be made before
the pictures are dragged to the timeline.
Tools / Options / Advanced / Picture
Duration...change from .125 to 30.0
seconds.

Also...for just still images and music...
