How many pictures can you have
in a slide show ? is there a limit ?
====================================
I'm thinking you are only limited by your system
resources. But of course, the larger and more
complex a project becomes...the more problems
you can expect.

Maybe the following article will offer something useful:

Prepping Still Pix for Import

And...even though it has a 300 image limit...
Photo Story 3 was designed for still images...
maybe it would be worth a try:

Also it may be worth considering how many
images your viewers will watch before becoming
totally bored. Personally, and this is just me but
I prefer short projects that contain the best shots.

Thanks John for the reply.

I have 3gb of memory, 2.8 mhz processor, 320gb hard drive. I have
completed a project with 437 pictures, 8 songs, transitions for a total
estimated size of 182 mb. I have it saved to the hard drive as a Windows
Media Audio/Video file and it plays back OK in Media Player. I can't burn
this saved file to a DVD in Movie Maker or Nero, can you please tell me how
to burn it ?

The only version of Movie Maker that
allows DVD creation is the Media Center
Edition and I'm thinking even then it's not
the best option.

You need DVD Authoring software that
is compatible with .wmv files. If you have
the full retail version of Nero...try using
NeroVision Express.
