movie maker hangs

I'm running movie maker on a vista box and while I'm in a middle of a project
movie maker hangs and doesn't respond. are there any known Compatibility
issue with movie maker and vista? is there an update?

I also have the abovely mentioned problem.

And no matter what I try, exept the codec crap, cuz thats simply too hard
for me.
It doesn`t work.

Why would it suddenly just start hanging up whenever i try editing AVI
files, but WMA files works all the time? Are they trying to make us use
their format or something? All I know is; I started up WMM today, just like
any other day, and it suddenly gives me hangups whenever I put in the only
format I thought actually worked on it: AVI

So now, WMM is completely useless to me, I cant use it for anything, and my
laptop is too weak for Pinnacle (Which eats ram and cpu constantly, trust me,
Ive tryed it, WMM is the only free alternative, which, until now, worked
splendidly.)

Why the heck get Vista when they havent even fixed XP after 6 years..

Maybe you need to download GSpot and
use it to identify the codec you need for
the particular .avi you are importing.
