Movie maker hangs when I select a clip or adjust volume

Movie maker hangs on me about 2 out of every 5 times that
I select a clip in the video bar or after I finish
adjusting its volume. It gives me a dialogue box that
says it needs to close with the following error
message: "AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer: 2.0.3312.0
ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1217 Offset: 000081bf"

Anyone have any sugestions??

Have you found a solution to your problem? I have the exact same
error message. Same behavior etc...

Would appreciate any help.
