I can capture movies from my Canon camcorder without any problem through the
Firewire connection, usually in DV-AVI format.
I can then review and edit this file.
However, when I try to save the file on a CD or on my hard disk, and I
choose a different format (taking up less space) my system always comes to a
complete stand-still and does not react at all any more, not even to
Alt-Ctrl-Del.
I have an ASUS A7V880 mobo, with a AMD Athlon 3200+, 1 GB RAM and a few hard
disks with plenty of space.
I run WinXP Home and Movie Maker 2.
Does anybody have any idea; or would you need more information ?
Thanks,
Marc
