Movie Maker.... error?

Hi there

I have made a couple of movies but this one I have got half way through and
up to about 8 mins and now I can't play it at all??? Just a black preview box
and it does nothing when cllicking play storyboard :( please help i dont want
to start again its taken me 2 days already!

Movie Maker is little more than a toy. If your time is important to
you and you are serious about making movies on your PC invest a few
bucks on something decent and you'll spend your time actually
making/editing movies and burning DVDs as opposed to trying to fight
with next to useless Movie Maker that does what you just reported
constantly.

Anything from Sony is GREAT.

Vegas Pro is their flagship video editing product. It comes in various
flavors from about $70 for a watered down version to over a $500
depending on your wants, needs.

Oh, one more thing. Ditch storyboard mode, real editors always use a
timeline so you can see frame by frame and with Vegas you actually get
that tight of control. Lots of luck trying that with Microsoft
software.
