I'm going to save my video after 12H of work and, SURPRISE!!! Well,
i've selected the option "Save to computer" and after the options for
the quality, i press "Next" and when it begins give me and error that
says verify that the files are not missing e the saving path is
right...i've verified the files and there are all ok, and the path
too...
I've tried to save a file with nothing on the storyboard but it's the
same...
I dunno what to do!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!

You can't save nothing, so testing with nothing on the storyboard isn't a
good test.
Some of the main causes of this error are, incompatible file types, such as
jpeg for stills, not using dv-avi or wmv for video adn mp3 for music. Also,
a break in the timeline, such as a transition not being correctly positioned
etc, so taking a close look at all the joins etc.
I take it you have enough space for this? If using dv-avi then you need 13gb
per hour, plus doublish for the temp files etc.

Another good test would be just to try and save a small part of your video -
and see if that works... You might need to reimport the video - save the
project before saving to file..

I've tried all...
I've tried to save a movie with one photo or a video of 5 sec...
It don't works...
I've a Pentium IV 3200 with 1024MB of ram...
I've checked the ram and CPU and all it's ok...

UFF!!!

yes, i've tried...but nothing...isn't a problem of CPU or RAM...
I'm working with .wav;.mp3;.wmv and all the effects and transitions
all i save with MM don't works...
i'm working also with photos in .jpeg and .jpg formats...
and with a video that i've aquired from my panasonic mini-DV

what i can do?!

I think that's not the real problem...
If is this the problem i could save any other video...but it isn't
it...
So, i don't know what to do to save my videos!!!!

What i can do?A re-installation of a program can solve the problems???
Can i use other programs to open the file .MSWMM??

Nothing Happens....it's the same thing....
I've checked the DirectShow...it's alredy ok...
uff...what can it be?

Can you save it as any type of file, try a really low spec one such as
pocket pc.
Have you checked through all the project to ensure that there are no
problems in it, such as transitions that aren't quite in the right place?
If you save the project as a new one, then split it in two by deleting half
of it, can you save the movie?
Have you looked at www.papajohn.org cannot save my movie?

I think I have your answer--- turn off as many "running processes" as
possible and try to save it again...

"ctrl" "alt" "delete" then running processes

I think that's not the correct answer...
All in my computer works well except the saving on MM...
I've tried all and i think that isn't a problem of system resources,
but it's the program that don't works fine...
I've checked papajohn.org ,i've seen a lot of information but no one of
these situations are like the mine...
I've tried to cut the movie into two parts but nothing happens...
UFF!!! Do you think that i've to reinstall the program?

Did you actually try to reduce the number of running processes? After the
exact problem occured in my computer (which is a toip of the line Vaio with
all the bells and whistes) I tried everything that has been suggested. Bottom
line was 'running processes" being reduced..

good luck

It's only NOT the correct answer after trying it. :)
Saving to avi from the timeline is probably about the second most powerful
thing the pc can do, outputting direct to dv tape is harder.
So unless you do lots of photo editng, cad drawing and play music, surf the
net etc all at the same time, I'd give it a whirl.
