I have installed Windows Vista Home Premium with upgrade Ultimate.
I make a film under WMM and wish to burn it at a DVD.
WMM says to save the file, close the program and start DVD Maker.
WDVD maker starts and load the file (extension xxx.mswmm).
Once loaded DVD maker says that it does not recognise this extension and
cannot carry out the burning process.

Who knows the solution?

Thanks,

Gerard

mswmm is the project file, although I've not actually tried dvd maker, I
suspect it needs a video file, so save your movie as a dv.avi and then
import this into dvd maker.

Hi Graham,

DVD Maker can also use a folder of still pix for a slideshow input.... or a
MM6 project file (MSWMM) from which it makes the video, with no need to
render it first with MM6.

Suggestion... After closing MM open DVD maker... FIND the file you saved in
MM and just slide it into the DVD maker window... I've used this method
several times with no problems... Remember to save your files as WMV... Hope
this helps...

I'll suggest the same thing I suggested to Gerad... Save your files from MM
as WMV.. Then open DVD maker and slide the saved file into the DVD Maker
window... That should work and it burns a nice DVD copy too... Hope this
helps...
