Movie Maker download

I want to download movie maker seperately from windows update, any ideas
where I can do this please?
 
the latest v2.1 of Movie Maker for XP doesn't come in a stand-alone
installation package.... you get it by installing the full Service Pack 2
update.

you can find the earlier v2.0 as a stand-alone update from 3rd party
websites.

the Setup MM2 in XP section of my website has appropriate links

You can download Movie Maker 2.0

Movie Maker 2.1 cannot be downloaded
or installed as a separate program...it is
a component of WinXP SP2. If you wish
to reinstall SP2 you can download it from
the following site:

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
