Movie maker does not start

I tried to start movie maker and got a messge "application has failed to start because WMVCORE.DLL was not found try to rinstall and this may fix the problem" I also have sonic MY dvd on my system and that message also came up when I tried to start that program. Appreciate any help on this.. dont know what I did wrong. Thanks
 
Looks like something is wrong with the Windows Media components on your
system. Probably the easiest way to fix this is to reinstall the Windows
Media Player 9. Here's the link
