I am running a pre-installed Vista Home Premium OS with Windows Movie Maker
6.0 (also pre-installed).
WMM worked just fine until recently. Now, when I click on the File drop down
menue and click Publish Movie, the "Circle of Death" appears and the window
goes white and the phrase "(Program Not Responding)" appears in the title bar.
Invariably, I have to close the program (MS claims it is "collecting
information" which "will take several minutes"; I have come to know the
latter and disbelieve the former).
When I restart WMM, I have to reimport the media and re-edit. This time,
invariably, when I click "File" and "Publish Movie" I can publish without
problems -- but the "Publish Movie" title and blue bar are permanently images
on the desk top. The only why I have found to make them disappear is to
reboot.
I appreciate any help that may be forthcoming, and offer thanks in advance.
