Movie Maker compatability

I have burned 2 slide shows with short video, transitions and scanned photos but they will not play on DVD or another computer. What am I doing wrong? I have read all the help menus. Ot says name the file but I don't knwo what that means because it has a name but it needs another name. How do I do it and what kind of name
