Movie Maker CD will not play on DVD with WMA format

I recently bought a DVD which plays WMA formats. I wanted to play my own movies created with Windows Movie Maker but so far the DVD comes up with no disc. I have tried everything but I am still unable to get the format to run. The DVD player has no problems with Jpeg slide show but will not play the WMM files. Can anyone adivse what I am doing wrong

You're not doing anything wrong... none of the available DVD players can
play the video WMV files.

To burn a disc and play it today, you need to use other software.... see the
CD and DVD sections of www.papajohn.org for some notes about what others are
using.
