I don't know why it isnt working. i even followed the
online instructions from this site and it still wont save.
it keep saying it can't save to the locatiobn specified.
I've even tried saving directly on the C: drive, in the
shared folders, and nothing works. can anyone help me?

I'm trying to save as a movie (.wmv). i downloaded the original movie itself off of Morpheus, and I edited out bits here and there, and i'm trying to publish a .wmv out of the edited version of that movie i downloaded

Looks like known issue with DIVX codec with no work around
at this time.

Thank you

I have the same problem. I have made and saved several .wmv type movies but now I get an eroor message saying the original file may not be there or the disk may be full, etc

A simple example: Open WMM2; inport a .JPG; bring that .jpg to the filmstrip at the bottom; then try to save it (tried many places) and get the error message. I could not find out hoe to un-install the WMM2 but did re-install it without and change

Please help

Bill

Bill,

Check your version of QASF.DLL - maybe it reverted from version 9 to 6.5 -
there's a link to a KB article to get it back to version 9 if needed.

If it's not that, see the Problem Solving > Can't Save a Movie page of my
site for more ideas.

I spoke a little too soon. I found the info about the Qasf.dll file and used the update and that fixed it. Not sure how it got messed up but at least it works again

Thanks anyway

Bill
