Movie Maker 2

I captured from Sony DV on DV-AVI edited and added titles
then recorded back to camera. The recorded movie shuts
down approx every 3 minutes for a second or two. The
computer is new with 80 gb and 560 ram. Does anyone have
this problem, or should i capture in lower setting

I get short glitches also when copying back to the camcorder to subsequently
make a VHS tape. If you figure out what causes this, let me know.

I have a feeling that more memory and a faster processor will cure the
problem but I don't know.
