Can some one explain the difference between Movie Maker 2.x and 5.x...?
I see where to get 2.x, but not 5.x...?
Thanks,
Tom...

I never heard of Movie Maker 5.
Movie Maker 2.0 and 2.1 are for Windows XP
and are included in the operating system.
Movie Maker 2.6 and 6.0 are for Vista.
Windows Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista
For Vista users who cannot run the
Vista version of Movie Maker

DVDs IIRC.

No...still Movie Maker 2.1...the DVD Burning was
accomplished with a Sonic DVD burning utility.

convert the video clips to a compatible file type and only get back
to you if I experience a problem - - - your help much appreciated.

listed as compatible with MSWMM). Even with any of these file-type
conversions, the clips will still not download to MS Windows Movie
Maker or MS Powerpoint. I think that I am going to have to abandon
the effort and use Quicktime or Realplayer as a poor substitute (you
cannot include titles or credits). I am very disappointed that, even
with an extended effort, the problem seems to be without a solution.
Thanks for your efforts anyway, Sadly, I am running out of time in
the preparation of the presentations.

'import into collections', I invariably receive an error message
reading, " c:\Documents and Settings\Mr Halls\My Documents\My

Unspecified error." - - - or something very similar
