Movie Maker 2 Download Problem

Hi - I have recently downloaded the extension of Windows Movie Player and I have lots of problems with it - It keeps on cutting out and closing the program by itself when i am in the middle of something - I have Windows XP...

If you could help me thanks but I want the old one back - how could i uninstall it
