Hi

I had this problem, MM2 crashed whenever I tried to add titles, transitions
etc...
I was advised to remove the Nimo Codec pack I had and this solved the
problem

i did but it dident find anything

Go to Start> Control Panel > Add/remove programs and look in the list to see
if the Nimo codec pack is listed. It might also be called Nimo Bundle - let
me know

hi there,

reading the postings really worries me as it appears no one can solve this problem, its driving me nuts.as a matter of point why dont the developers of this program ie microsoft help us.in my opinion the best bet would be to remove ie totally remove movie maker and install a program that works.
if any of you people out there have found a solution please let me know.

cheers

My mates machine does the same, yet mine works fine...throws up a need divx
3.1 or higher error at him, but same problems as you are talking
about...when trying to transit or play with clips it throws you out. His
system was not happy anyway till i went at it with registry mechanic and
norton systemworks....i get the feeling a clean format and install is needed
on his system, we are gonna transfer over divx 5.1 to see if that resolves
the issue...if it does i will relay back to you. Seems odd that a 3rd party
software outside of microsoft is required tho....hmmmm damned divx aliens i
guess...
