I have gone to the Problem Solving > Acceleration and Codecs page of www.papajohn.org, but I do not know how to try the first thing (with the divxaf.ax codec) I have tried searching for it but that came up with nothing. I also tried setting my hardware acceleration to levels 3, 4, and 5 and it did not work with any of them.

Try this, this is how I found the problem on my machine.

1. Go to a DOS prompt and change to the \windows\system32 directory.
2. Run this command "ren *.ax *.ax1"
3. Keep the window open and test your MM2.
4. If this doesn't resolve the problem run "ren *.ax1 *.ax" to put
everything back. If it does resolve it, do a directory of *.ax1 and the
problem file is one of them. You can try renaming them back individually to
find the culprit.

Anyway, that's what did it for me and the divxaf.ax file was the one causing
the problem. You'll note that after renaming all of them, some will be
restored, that should be ok.
