HI,

I'm running XP SP2 on my system. The SP2 comes together with my original CD
thus I did not do a seperate installation of SP2. However my SP2 comes with
only Movie Maker 2.0. I understand that version 2.1 does not come as a
standalone installation file, does it mean I need to reinstall SP2 all over
again on my comp?

I need the version 2.1 becos verytime I click on any transitions or effects,
movie maker closes by itself without any error message or warnings.

I hope someone can assist.

Thank you!!

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.

Hi John,

I DL a copy of XP SP2, reinstalled it and my movie maker was upgraded to
v2.1. not sure if there'll be any implications to the rest of my OS but my
movie maker seems to be working fine now.

Thanx =)
