My movie maker 2.0 is crashing immediately upon loading. The error message
points to a module called qedit.dll; on researching at the papajohns.com site
(as mentioned in a previous thread), there seems to be some agreement about
the presence of Intervideo software as the reason. Is it possible to keep
both (MM and Intervideo) in working order in the same computer?

I could not find the utility called MM-Fixit anywhere (mentioned in a
previous thread at this forum by John Kelly) and the weblink given by Rehan
is broken (also mentioned in the same thread). Please help me.

Not familiar with the history that you're referring to but whenever there
is a conflict between two software programs - a good place to start is
looking for updates for each. Fixes for known problems are eventually
incorporated into updates.

Another possibility: There may be published workarounds at the websites for
either program. Not a direct fix, usually a stopgap until a fix is
released. Using the precise steps of the published workaround should help
to avoid the error condition.
