I have Windows Movie Maker. I made a video on it to send to some newly
adopted family members. It did not have the option of burning to DVD. I
searched and found out I had to have third party software to do that. So I
bought Sonic MyDVD Studio Deluxe. According to Microsoft: "First, use
Windows Movie Maker 2 to create your home movie. Once you're done, you can
use a third-party program such as MyDVD to burn a DVD."
That's why I bought MyDVD. I also just upgraded Movie Maker to version 2.1
So... the problem... I go into MyDVD and do the following:
1. Create or Modify a DVD-Video Project. (click on that)
2. Get Movies (click on that)
3. I find the movie I made (.mswmm file) and click on it.
4. A window pops up in MyDVD and says, "One or more files could not be
imported. MyDVD does not support this file type."
ARG!!! I just spent 18 hours downloading a Microsoft service pack so that I
could upgrade Movie Maker. I just spent $139 on the best MyDVD version and a
book on how to use it. Can anyone help me?????
