I have about a 4 minute movie made with WMM that I would like to post
a link to on the web.

What is the best format to save it to for web viewing so everyone can
open it?

one of the video for broadband choices is good if your audience is mostly on
broadband...

Which, though?. I've been saving in DV-avi for DVDs.

On the drop-down for format, MM offers video for broadband at 512, 340
or 150 kps. I don't know what this means or which is better.

the higher the bitrate number, the higher the quality.... but the better the
internet connection needed to download/play it smoothly and quickly...

I have a set of sample video clips on the Saving Movies > Sample Video Clips
page of my site.... try each of the 3 and others.

Tony,

I would think that what matters is the end user. You might want to save it a
couple different ways, and let your viewers decide which one they want to
download - which will depend on their own connection speed. [the lower the
kps will be for the folks with a slower connection, the higher kps for the
folks with the faster connection]
