moved photos

[curious]

I downloaded the photo's from my digital camera. Then I decided ( through my
not knowing what would happen) moved them. Now when I put them on a cd it
says they can not be found. I have deleted the folders that they are
telling me that they were in because I thought it was alright since they
were somewhere else.

Now I don't want to lose them and don't know what or even how to proceed.

Might be worth a try to search your hard drive
and see if you can find the files. I'm guessing
they are .jpg files?...if they are...search for
*.jpg (yes you need the asterisk). This should
find all of the .jpgs on your hard drive.

If the files have not been deleted from your
memory card, you should be able to download
them again.

Otherwise...the following article discusses
software that may assist you in retrieving the
files from your camera's memory card.
