I am working with Windows Movie Maker. It seems that anytime we try to move
the movie (and clips) to a different location from the one in which it was
created, it will not run (Xs replace the individual clips). It seems that
the program is still trying to find the files from their original source
(e.g., if we move the files from the C: to the H: including all of the clips
in the movie, Movie Maker is still trying to run each clip from the C:). Any
suggestions on how we might get around this problem?

When you save a project in MM it doesn't actually save the movie you are
creating as a single file - it saves address pointers. When you open a
project, MM looks at the project definition. The definition lays out the
contructs of the movie. It might say transition "A" goes from second 0 to
second 3, 50 seconds of video clip
"c:/clipa.wmv" starting at from 200 goes from second 3 to second 53, and so
on. When you open a project all of these pieces get assembled into what looks
like a movie file but that doesn't actually happen until you render your
project. So if you move a video clip or audio clip from one location to
another (or even just rename it via windows explorer) you project definition
will not be able to use it.

I tried locating the file, but it said the file was two different. It is the
same file, but ina different location.
