I am currently running Outlook 98 (IMO) under WIN98se. I need to move this
Outlook 98 data (all folders) (plus account information, rules, views,
etc.) to another PC running Outlook 2003 under WIN XP Pro.

What files do I need to move to the new installation and in which folders
should I move these files?
thanks

Hi Joe,
the most important file is the pst file
Use the following steps to export an individual folder such as Contacts
or Calendar:

1. On the File menu, Click Import and Export.

2. Click "Export to file", and click Next.

3. Select "Personal Folder File(.pst)", and click Next.

4. Click the folder you wish to export and click Next.

5. In "Save exported file as" type the name of the file to
which the data will be exported.

6. Click Finish.

Andreas:
Thanks for your reply.
My intention is to move all of the folders. Can I just move the pst file
itself rather that export and import individual folders?
Also, will eith exporting and importin or moving the pst file copy over all
of the views, rules, etc.
