Hi,

My booting disk is almost full(400M free). I added a new
disk and mapped to a folder to it(no driver letter). How
could I move the virtual memory file to the new disk on a
windows 2000 professional?

Thx

Thanks,Bjorn

That isn't what I want. I only want to add more space to
C: whithout add an new drive letter. How can I specify the
paging file folder?

Thx

I dont believe you can, on Win2K, the page file is to a drive not folder
Whats wrong with slaving the new hd?

I'm aware that this isn't the solution you want. But it is the best, and
probably the only solution.

You could divide your new hard disk in two partitions, mount one as a
folder and use the other one for the page file (using a drive letter).

If you dare, you might be successful by using selected information from the
following MS Knowledge Base article, but I cannot recommend trying it. It
might not work at all, or it might fail unexpectedly in certain situations:

Be aware, if you try, that you do this on your own risk.

Best regards

Bjorn
