Move Mail Questions to Outlook?

I am using Outlook 2007 as my personal information manager, but for reasons I
won't bore you with, I am interested in using Windows Mail as opposed to
Outlook (for Mail) (has to do with problems with the Add Contacts add-in and
other issues). I would still use Outlook for Tasks and Calendar.

My question: is there a way to move a message to Outlook, say to my
calendar, the way that you could move an Outlook message to tasks or
calendar? Or must I simply copy the message and open Outlook?

Thanks,

Richard

As long as Outlook is installed and functional on the machine, you can
directly export messages from WM to Outlook. Note that you will only be
able to transfer messages into Outlook mail folders, not to Tasks, Calendar,
Contacts, etc.

Thanks. I assume I would do a "File-Export"?

Once it is an Outlook mail message, can I then move it to my calendar or to
do?

Thanks,

Richard

'File|Export|Messages|Microsoft Exchange'. You can do with them whatever
you can currently do with an Outlook mail message.
