Is there a specific command to maove the insertion point to a particular
cell in a table? For example if I want the insertion point to be in Column
two Row two before I start an action is there a command that do that?

Thanks,

Dennis

.
are you working in Excel or Access? if in Access, you'll
have to let go of the Rows/Columns idea - a table in
datasheet view looks like an excel file, but doesn't act
like one at all. translate "particular cell in specific
row" to "specific field in a specific record". in a form,
going to a specific field (a bound control on the form),
is easy, but you have to identify the record you want to
be in - usually by referring to the record's primary key.

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear. I am working in MS Word and wanted to ensure
that the insertion point was in a particular cell before the main body of
the macro began.

Suggest you re-post your question to one of the Word newsgroups, possibly
"microsoft.public.word.vba" (Word macro is actually vba).

This newsgroup is for Microsoft ACCESS, a database application.
