Greetings
Is there a method or a rule I can use to move all e-mail from a group of senders that are in my contacts folder and have the same category (Group X category) to a specific folder (Group X folder) without adding all of their names individually to a given rule or special address book? I'd like this because it would prevent me fom having to update my rules every time I add a new contact to that group

No, Outlook has no rule that can do that. It might be possible to write VBA
code to look up the contact and get the category, then apply it.

Sue,

Thanks for the reply, I may try my hand at VBA.

This ability should be added by Microsoft immediately. It is a very logical and obvious use of contact catagories.
