I have an existing Domain controller W2k and now have a new 2003 server. I need to migrate the configuration of the Active directory from the W2k to the 2003 server and configure the new server as the primary domain controller. Also, the W2k server will be decommissioned once all software and apps are migrated.
Can someone guide me to resources on accomplishing this task? How difficult will this be? I did the original install of the W2k from a book. I am not a Microsoft tech just a hack. Any guidance / suggestions? I am even willing to hire a resouce but first want to know what it might take for an effort first.
