I am thinking of moving from Outlook Express 6.00 to
Outlook97 (8.04)
Can I move my address book?
Can I move my emails?
Is this a wise move?
Regards
Richard

I don't really know if the Import function of Outlook 97 works with Outlook
Express 6.0 (or the export function the other way around). You can try this;
it won't do any harm but backing up your dbx files of Outlook Express is
always a good idea. You can run these programs side by side.

About whether this is a wise move;
Note that Outlook 97 isn't supported anymore by Microsoft and has some
issues on a Windows 2000/XP machine when you're not logged in as an
administrator
Note that Outlook Express 6.0 has much higher security than Outlook 97
Why do you want to go to Outlook 97? Is it for Exchange connectivity or
calendar and contactsfolder functionality? (distribution groups are not
supported in Outlook 97/98 contactfolders you still need to create a
seperate pab-file). In this case you are much more better off to upgrade
your version of Outlook 97 to Microsoft Outlook XP or even 2003 (give it
just a little more time).
