With my inbox, i have setup sub-folders for particular jobs. When I receive
email, I move the email to that sub-folder. Once the job is completed, I
would like to move the sub-folder with all the emails from Outlook to my
Completed Job Folders on my hard drive. How can I move the entire folder?

Outlook Items can only be moved to Outlook data files. Is that what your
"Completed Job Folders" is?

No, the "completed job folders" is not associated with Outlook. So,there's
no way of saving all the emails to a folder outside of Outlook?

Select all the messages you want to save, then drag the selection to the
Windows folder.

You can move them to another type of folder, but they will each be converted
to individual msg files. If that's all you need, then just copy them all to
that folder. If you want them to remain as Outlook Items that you can open
and view in their entirety together in Outlook, then you'd need to keep them
in an Outlook Data File.

I'm trying to do the same thing, and have achieved that. However, the email
then have the date of which I moved them, not the original date. Any way to
achieve the original date on them?

Moving a message out of Outlook makes a Windows file whose creation date will
be the date you created the file. Windows has no idea what's in the file and
cannot set the file creation date to the received date contained in the file.

Actually just select them, then r-click drag and drop on the Windows
folder, then select Move is the quickest.
Ruus Valentine you are a legend. Just copy and paste! I have been trying to
figure out for MONTHS how to move a folder of emails into my network folders.
Even my IT manager is going on about buying new programmes that will allow us
to convert the outlook folder to windows etc..but COPY and PASTE!
Thank you, you have just saved me a lot of time (and space in my inbox!)
