Move DNS

I have a W2k domain controller with AD integrated DNS running on it. And IT
has exchange 2000 also. I would like to reduce the load on this server, so I
would like to move DNS to another server. Can anybody tell me the procedure?
and does it effect my Exchange anyway?

Thanks in advance.

You need to install DNS somewhere else first, as a secondary DNS server.
Then you need to reconfigure your clients to use the new DNS server
instead.

This alone should reduce the load (although I can't help feeling that
DNS will be a very light load, and you may find you really need to move
Exchange.)

To remove DNS, de-integrate the zone, make the new server primary for
the zone, and then delete the DNS zone and update it accordingly.
