What is the best way to move an Access 2000 database from
one PC to another ?

Ray, if the PCs are connected to a shared networked
server, you can copy the .mbd up to the server, then copy
it down to the other PC.

Or if they both have available USB ports you can get a
keyfob-type ZIP drive (can find them in Office Depot, Comp
USA, probably your local Target). Plug in the keyfob to
the free USB port on PC that has the file. It is now
treated like any other drive by WIndows, so you can copy
anything you like onto it (up to the memory limit of the
keyfob, natch).

Then after you copy your .mdb file over, remove the keyfob
from that PC, plug it into the other PC and copy your
Access file down to the other PC.

HTH,
