Hello
Is their software to convert MOV to something else I relly dont want to
install quicktime to watch.

Google Virtual Dub.... it's a bit tricky at first, but it works.

Then I recommend downloading Super which you can get from
http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html . Super is an excellent freeware
prog, this is an video transcoder which can convert from one format to
another. You can convert Mov (Quicktime files) to MPEG-2 for burning to
DVD's, et al. Super can convert movies files such as MWV, Mov, MPEG-1,
MPEG-2, AVI, ASF, et al.

Beforewarned, this prog is almost a 30 MB download but it is worth the
time to download & use.

Your very welcome. Super is one program which I recommend to people who
ask about coverting videos from one format to the other. I've only been
using Super for about a week or two but it converts lots of videos from
one format to the other. Super uses Ffmpeg & Mencoder & Ffmpeg2theora
for the video/audio converting & these there programs are one source &
they are included in the download of Super.

The developers of Ffmpeg are working on adding the VC-1 video codec to
their encoder. VC-1 is the video codec which is used on HD-DVD's &
MMV-HD.
