I still haven't found the mouse-free keystroke shortcut to minimize ONLY the
OPEN window.

What I need is the keystrokes themselves, not a referral to a list of
shortcuts.

Thanks.

You probably won't ever find one either. You can minimize all the Windows
with the WinKey + M or WinKey + D to return to the desktop but if there's a
way to minimize just a single window with a keystroke or combination of
keystrokes I've never seen such a critter.

Me, too.

Actually, Oli Restorick [MVP] turned me on to Alt+Space, n. Try it: it works!

to scroll down to find it. It's called reverse-chronological order.)

Ahh! Nice! It does even revert you to the last maximized (or seen) window
too! I'm truly appreciative though I'll likely forget that one shortly... I
checked, silly me, only the WinKey and Alt commands. (I keep them "all"
handy just to check them for such questions.)

As for my posting I've been around and around, my compromize is to snip (as
always) and not worry about the complaints. People complain about top
posting, bottom posting, inline posting, etc... Instead? I tell them where
they'll find it but for those of us still using narrowband I snip and the
likes. I try to only leave the important parts. ALT, SPACE, N works, I like
that. (They're struck in order if you want hence the commas... alt, then
space, then n... Not really required you do alt + N from the results here.)
