I'm trying out mozilla firebird and I've noticed that mouseimp

doesn't work with it. I often wonder how people can ever go back
to useing scroll bars after they have used mouseimp.

Has anyone found a way of using the mouseimp functionality in
mozilla?

I'm not clear on what MouseImp does. Makes the display scroll up when
the right mouse button is down?

Maybe the SuperScroll extension will do what you want - I am not sure.

With mouseimp installed, you can right click anywhere in the window and drag
up and down which scrolls the window up and down the same as if you were
dragging the scroll bars up and down. It means you never have to use the
scroll bars again on any application.

It also allows you to scroll extremely quickly up and down if you have a
long document open. Now that I'm use to mouseimp, I can't go back to not
using it as it makes browsing so much easier. I realise that you can middle
click and drag up and down in some applications, but this is by far no where
near as good as the control that you receive from mouseimp.

Unfortunately the super scroll feature won't allow me to attach the mouse's
right click and drag to scrolling up or down :(

I realise I could do this, but I don't really like this feature as you need
to position the mouse nearly exactly horizontal to the scroll icon to get it
to stop scrolling. If the scrolling stopped when the mouse stopped when
middle
clicking and dragging, then this would be what I want.

Mouseimp is really an awesome application that I use more than anything else
as everytime I scroll, I'm using it.

They can't! It's torture :-)

I can't help you I'm afraid, but I can tell that MouseImp won't work
with Opera (7.11) either. When I switched from Win95 to Win98 not long
a go, MouseImp did work with IE 5.5 for a while, but then suddenly
stopped working. And when IE isn't "direct scrollable", those pesky IE-
based help files aren't either! Very painful.

They're probably all using the wheel function on their mice. Not the click
wheel mouse option, just the flicking the wheel to scroll up and down. I
must check out MouseImp as although I can't imagine changing from using the
wheel you have me sufficiently interested to try it out! :-)
