does anyone know why ..when I had my palm off my cordless
mouse the arrow on the screen started to move by itself
all the way to the top left corner...is that a hacker or
virus in my computer?

If it was a hacker the mouse cursor would be doing more than sitting
innocently sitting in a corner.

Most mouse software will add options to Control Panel> Mouse but some
have a separate interface for controlling the extra features available
with your mouse model. That separate interface may be accessible via a
second icon in Control Panel or via a shortcut added to your start menu.
Use these controls and look for settings such as "Snap To" or "While
typing..." or "When idle..." Anything that looks like it would effect
the positioning of the mouse cursor when it is not in use. Experiment
with these settings to get them tuned to your liking.

Additionally, typing with a keyboard that is on the same surface that
the mouse is resting on could cause enough vibration to move the cursor.
May want to keep a mouse pad around. The extra cushioning may block the
mouse from picking up those vibrations.
