First ... easy things ... if it's a USB mouse, try unplugging it and
plugging it back in. If it's not, try restarting the computer and see if the
mouse comes back.
Otherwise ...
- Press ALT to access a menu
- use the TAB button to select different controls and buttons
- hold ALT and press TAB at the same time (ALT+TAB), then repeatedly press
TAB while keeping ALT held down to move between different windows
- and use the ENTER button or the SPACEBAR button to click things.
- To close a window, press ALT+F4.
- To open the Start Menu, Press CTRL+ESC
- CTRL+ESC to get to start
- type devmgmt.msc and press enter
- press the left arrow key and spacebar when it asks you for permission
- press TAB
- press the DOWN arrow until you get to Mice and other pointing device
- press the RIGHT arrow
- press DOWN and select your mouse
- Press ALT to get to the menu
- Press RIGHT to get to Action
- Press DOWN to open the menu
Option 1 - easier:
- Press DOWN until you get to Uninstall
- Press Enter
- Press Enter
- Restart your computer
If this doesn't work, start over from the top and
do option 2 instead
Option 2
- Press DOWN until you get to Properties
- Press Enter
- Press TAB 4 times to select GENERAL
- Press RIGHT arrow key once to select DRIVER
- Press TAB 3 times to select Roll Back Driver
- Press ENTER
- A wizard will come up. Use your TAB key to select the NEXT button and
press SPACEBAR to click the next button until the wizard is finished.
- Insert the Vista DVD
- When the Vista DVD boots, there is an option for recovery... you can
attempt to recover your installation, or just plow thru and overwrite
everything. Unfortunately, there's no repair install like WinXP had.
