Gaming in 3D has an entertaining review of a product called "Mouse Wax", designed to enhance the fluid motion of your mouse on a surface...

After a few hours of gaming in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, my frag count shot up drastically and I became a world-class player. I could suddenly see through walls, fly at blinding speeds, and dodge bullets with ease. And not to mention the telepathic powers.

...sure this didn't get first publication on April 1st?

thats what I thought at first, but its real! That one paragraph that I quoted was the writer being sarcastic though ;)

Hmmmmm....Ratpadz GS + Pledge + Intellimouse Explorer (and teflon tape) are the best combo for slick gaming.

Hey Eric, I have a ratpad (old version) and the Intellimouse explorer 3 (new version) and they are superb for fast twitching in FPS...but what's the new RatpadGS like? I've only seen pictures, and got the impression it is no longer a solid block of hard plastic, but a softer compound with ridges underneath...that suggests that over time the surface may develop depressions. (There's nothing worse than a depressed pad!). Are they any good?
Also...you polish it with pledge and use the tape to keep in still on the table? ...or are these tools for more devious mods? :brow:
