Mouse Scrolling Problems

When I am in a Word or WordPerfect document and I want to
select a large area of text to copy, I drag the mouse down
over the page, however, when I try to select an area
greater than one page, the area selected continues to
select multiple pages very quickly, even though I have
stopped moving the mouse.

Can anyone please help?
 
Hi kimdeon,

Try using techniques such as found in the following Microsoft Word 2000 Help topic
titled: "Select text and graphics by using the mouse".

For example, to select a large block of text click at the start of the selection, use
the scroll bar or a mouse wheel to scroll to the end the selection, hold down SHIFT,
and then click.
